About the 1985 Congress

The Surrey Easter Chess Congress 1985 was held at the Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey, over Easter weekend: 5, 6, 7 and 8 April 1985.

The Frank Winter Memorial Open incorporated the S.C.C.U. Individual Championship. D. H. Cummings won the S.C.C.U. Individual Championship title on tie-break, together with an additional prize of £50.
